Hello, I’m Liam
I’m a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in Madison, United States.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to United States wasn’t in the grand plan. Like many relocations for work, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The early months were demanding — adapting to new systems, routines, and expectations. Routine tasks felt tougher than they should be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet over time, patterns settled in. We found spots that fit our lives, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built FenSavaOrtel
Most online resources tipped toward corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism content. What was absent was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in United States.
